My dream was always being a teacher since I was a kid. I studied education and psychology at university in Kyoto. I was tutoring English to Japanese students as a part time job as well. After graduating, I started working at a junior high school in Kyoto as an English teacher. However I couldn’t speak English well at the time so I decided to study overseas. I also hated my job. I loved teaching but I had no time off and I was working 70-80 hours a week. So I quit my job and flew to Australia in 2016. I enjoyed my new life as well as learning English. I started to teach Japanese one-on-one in Sydney. I taught kids and adults. Then I continued teaching them online after coming back to Japan. That’s how I became a Japanese teacher and I still enjoy teaching Japanese. I have taught more than 200 students so far. I’m looking forward to meeting more people from all over the world!!!
